Tristan Thompson admits 'hooking up' with Maralee Nichols, says she has herpes
Tristan Thompson has filed court documents contesting his alleged baby mama Maralee Nichols' claims that the two had sex in California since 2020. The Sacramento Kings player admitted that he was "hooking up" with the fitness trainer who allegedly gave birth to their baby boy on December 1. Throughout the filing, emphasis is given to the nature of their relationship which Thompson maintains was anything but serious. Khloe Kardashian's on and off boyfriend says he communicated with Nichols only through Snapchat and the only messages exchanged between them were 'when and what time' to meet.
"As I stated, our relationship was based on sex. We did not have any dates in the traditional sense at anytime; there were no dining at restaurants, going to movies, traveling or any other indicia of a normalized relationship. There was only Snapchats of 'where' and 'what time' we would hook up and what hotels would be used. There are no paparazzi or other media photographs depicting any alleged relationship between us," the documents read. Apart from Nichols, Thompson was also allegedly hooking up with Sydney Chase at the end of last year. This despite a possible reconciliation with Khloe who he had been quarantining with. Reports say he claimed to be "single" when hooking up with Chase.

Thompson said they hooked up for months before having sex
According to the documents obtained by Daily Mail, Thompson declared, "we saw each other sporadically between December 2020 and March 13, 2021 and did not have sexual intercourse in California during that time." The declaration further read Nichols was involved with other athletes and "she understood the limitations of our relationship; to-wit, that we might see each other on a sporadic basis for consensual casual sex only." Thompson says they didn't speak on the phone, exchange regular texts, or emails. The papers acknowledge a meeting between them "at someone's house" in late November or December 2020.
The docs further reveal Maralee was at his Encino, California home on "maybe two occasions" but he doesn't recall having sex with her until March 13, 2021, his birthday which he celebrated in Houston, Texas. The papers declare, if Thompson is the father, it's likely that the child was conceived on his birthday in Texas. The place and time of when Nichols' child was conceived is significant to this case because she wants to sue for paternity in California while Thompson and his attorneys are working to get the suit handled in Houston, Texas where he is likely to pay less child support. Nichols has alleged she and Thompson were hooking up for months before she became pregnant and was offered $75,000 in hush money from the athlete to have an abortion.
Thompson accused Maralee of placing conception in Boston
The papers read, "Although petitioner now 'does not deny' that conception could have taken place in Texas on my birthday on March 13, 2021, she continues to falsely place conception in mid-April of 2021 in Boston, where I am a resident. However, the gestation period for the normal birth of a baby is 40 weeks which coincides with a March 13th conception date and the December 1st birthday." Thompson further made scathing allegations that Nichols labor was intentionally induced on December 1 due to a medical condition.
"Since opening up our private files to the media, I have been contacted by a source confirming that I should be checked because Petitioner has been diagnosed with herpes. Therefore, it would make sense the Petitioner had to have a designated delivery date." Thompson says he specifically offered parental responsibility if he was found to be the father, however, he won't be seeking custody or visitation of the child. He claims to have tried to resolve the matter with Nichols on reasonable grounds contrary to her approach of turning it into a full scale "media blitz".
