COHASSET, MASSACHUSETTS: The search for Ana Walshe, the 39-year-old missing Massachusetts mother, has led investigators to believe she was likely murdered by her husband, Brian, and her body dismembered. Brian Walshe appeared in Quincy District Court on January 18 and pleaded not guilty to the charges. However, the circumstantial evidence against Brian appears to be incriminating in several respects.

The 'incriminating' evidence includes a list of Google searches he conducted, including, “How long before a body starts to smell? How to stop a body from decomposing? How to clean blood from the wooden floor? Can you be charged with murder without a body?” As investigators try to find more details pertaining to the case, a new peice of evidence suggests that Brian was abusive and might have stuffed slippers into Ana's mouth.

Did Brian try to keep Ana from screaming?

Aside from his Google searches, investigators also discovered ten trash bags in a dumpster near an apartment complex where Brian's mother lives, with Brian's and Ana's DNA on the items found in the trash bags and traces of blood. The ten trash bags investigators found allegedly contained the following items: rags, towels, slippers, a Tyvek suit, duct tape, cleaning supplies, a Prada bag, gloves, rugs, hunting boots, a hacksaw, a hatchet, and Ana's COVID -19 vaccination card.

"It is very unusual that traces of DNA are distributed on the slippers. Those slippers were folded...and they stood safely in the drawers in the hall. But now there's Brian's DNA on one side and Ana's DNA on the other side," a recent YouTube video by AGAMEMNON Production lists out in detail, claiming that the evidence suggests that Brian might've stuffed the slippers into Ana's mouth to silence her. In the video the narrator explains that the point where the DNA's are found on the slippers suggest that when Brian entered the Hall he most likely picked those slippers with his hand and stuffed them into the mouth of "unfortunate Ana" so that she wouldn't scream. The channel believes that there is no other explanation for how the DNA "is so specifically arranged, on one side Brian's DNA, and on the other side Ana's DNA."

'Brian and I don't get along': Ana Walshe's chat with mom shows signs of conflict

While most people have lost every hope of seeing Ana alive ever again, a chat betwen Ana and her mother, Milanka Ljubicic, suggests that she was having conflicts with Brian, weeks before her disappearance. Serbian tabloid Blic quoted Ljubicic as saying, "She (Ana) was with her older sister in Belgrade and that's when Ana once mentioned to me that 'Brian is strange and brooding' and that she can't stand it anymore and that she wants to spend more time with the children."

Ljubicic revealed she had proposed to go with Ana to the US after that but received no positive response from her after that. About three weeks later, on December 25, 2022, Ljubicic received a message from Ana on Viber asking if she could visit her the next day. "It torments and haunts me that I didn't leave immediately. Perhaps none of this would have happened. Maybe I would have prevented something," said Ljubicic.

A Reddit user has posted a translation of the December 25 Viber conversation between Ana and her mother. The conversation suggests that Ana and Brian were arguing about their children. "Hi mom. Could you come to Washington tomorrow?" Ana messaged her mother on December 25 evening. Ljubicic responded by asking her daughter why was she telling her that so late. "You should have told me earlier," Ljubicic messaged.
