ONTARIO, CANADA: A Canadian teacher who made headlines for wearing gigantic prosthetic breasts has now sparked a question among the people as the teacher is rarely seen them wearing outside of school, prompting many to believe whether the costume is just an act.

While parents have voiced their protest about the transgender teacher Kayla Lemieux being allowed to wear Z-cup prosthetics in front of students, Lemieux was seen dressed as a man when stepping out in the public, ditching the controversial fetishistic fashion after work. “He wears prosthetic breasts extremely infrequently,” a resident of Lemieux’s apartment complex told according to New York Post. “He puts the breasts on to teach, occasionally when he goes for a walk or when the cops visit.”

As per a law enforcement source, police do regular welfare checks at Lemieux's apartment in both regular and plain clothes after they received death threats. Lemieux, who was known by the name Kerry a few years ago, left Ontario’s Oakville Trafalgar High School this week wearing gigantic breasts, a blond wig, and glasses but it did not take too long for Lemieux to reportedly get rid of the highly-controversial outfit.

Lemieux headed home to get changed and reportedly emerged while being dressed as a man half an hour later after shopping at a department store and pet supplies shop dressed as a woman. He was then reportedly seen spending the afternoon in public wearing men’s sweatpants, trainers, a gray T-shirt, and a navy puffer vest without breasts, makeup, glasses, or a wig, as per New York Post.

Lemieux's neighbor speaks out

A neighbor of Lemieux, who did not want to be named said that the trans teacher was first spotted in May, “parading” gigantic prosthetic breasts while walking along a busy road in their neighborhood. “I was driving past. You can see the breasts from so far away when you’re driving,” he said. “He put the whole outfit on and just walked up and down Guelph Line — no bags, just walking. Everyone slows down because you can’t believe what they’re seeing."

The neighbor has claimed that he has seen Lemieux dressed more frequently as a man while leaving the apartment than as a woman. Pictures and videos of Lemieux's outfit have led parents to complain that they are not suitable to teach the students in a school and that it is going to distract their children from learning. Even the school where the trans teacher teaches, received bomb threats which led to a heavy police presence on the campus.

“I was shocked to learn [Lemieux] appears in public as a male", enraged Oakville parent Celina Close told the outlet. “The school has been adamant in telling parents this is a transitioning teacher who needs to express themselves as a woman. Lemieux’s appearance at school is unprofessional, offensive and has caused chaos in the school environment. I have an issue with Lemieux choosing to dress as a male because how he appears at school has become very disruptive to the school. Why does Lemieux choose to appear like he does at school when he dresses as a man in his personal time?”

The school protects Lemieux

The Halton District School Board has helped to protect Lemieux's identity and has defended their rights. Board chair Margo Shuttleworth said that protecting employees' “gender rights” is “the stance the school board is taking and they are standing behind the teacher", according to The Toronto Sun.

At a special hearing of the Halton District School Board on Wednesday, February 15,  transgender woman Julia Malott said that it is not transphobic to demand Lemieux lose some cup sizes before teaching impressionable children. “Adults in our schools are the role models for our children, and I would expect staff would present professionalism and decorum that is at least as stringent as that which we enforce upon our students,” Malott said at the school board meeting. “So long as the dress code does not explicitly require an individual to present in alignment with birth sex, there should arise no gender expression issue arising out of standards of professionalism.”
