Tracy Miner: Brian Walshe’s attorney implies Ana wanted to 'disappear' as she was 'having an affair'
COHASSET, MASSACHUSETTS: The prosecutors have likely found a motive behind the gruesome murder of Boston mother of three Ana Walshe. Ana was killed and allegedly dismembered by her husband Brian Walshe on New Year's Day in their Cohasset home.
In the new court filings reported by the Daily Mail, Brian who is facing first-degree murder charges in Boston, Massachusetts, had suspected that his wife Ana was having an affair and had hired a private investigator to follow her in the months leading up to her death. After killing her wife at Cohasset home, Brian dumped her body in a trash can, according to the prosecution.

'How to dispose of a body'
Despite the absence of her body, her clothing and some of her blood was discovered in a dumpster along with a hatchet and a hacksaw, indicating that she may have been a victim of violence. On their son's iPad, Brian allegedly performed damning Google searches, including one for "how to dispose of a body" and tips on how to clean up the blood. Even making queries "How long it takes before the corpse starts smelling."
Even though Brian's attorney Tracy Miner, during Wednesday's court appearance, accepted that the Google searches were "problematic" he still argued that he was innocent, reportedly suggesting that Ana had "disappeared".
In contrast to his unkempt appearance during other hearings, Brian arrived at Norfolk Superior Court clean-shaven and wearing a decent shirt and sweater. His case is being closely observed due to the mystery as Ana's body has not been found.
He is currently charged with murder and dismemberment of his wife's body According to The Sun, Brian has also been accused by relatives of stealing from his father, Thomas Walshe, who died in 2018. Brian faces additional charges for "improper conveyance of a human body," according to the Norfolk District Attorney's Office.
Not Brian but his mother had hired a PI
Miner even contested on behalf of Brian and said that he had hired a private investigator claiming that Ana was having an affair in Washington DC where she worked and lived during the week. She told the court that Brian's mother had hired a private investigator on her own.
"He told her she was crazy and that Ana was a good girl. He only discovered the affair as part of the discovery of this case," the attorney said. The man whom Ana is accused of having an affair with remains unnamed, and it is unclear how Brian became aware of the situation.
'Brian didn't need money'
Miner as per the report said that he has "no need" for money despite the fact that he has been unemployed since his fraud indictment for years. According to the prosecution, he had been fixated on a male friend's Instagram feed. Abdulla Almutairi, a married coworker who regularly referred to her as his best friend, and Ana were particularly close.
