Since 1986, Five Guys has been delivering hand-cut, large portions of fries in addition to its renowned burgers. However, Five Guys also makes excellent hot dogs. The company sells an all-beef hot dog that is split and cooked on a flattop with the option of adding cheese and bacon. With 520 calories, this dog is substantial and full, so use caution when adding additional toppings.
2. Nathan’s Famous
The hot dog is the cornerstone of Nathan's whole history. Indeed, Nathan's Famous is well-known for its hot dogs. Three all-beef hot dogs are offered by the chain: the regular Hot Dog, the Chili Cheese Dog, and the NY Cheesesteak Dog. Since its inception in 1961, this brand, which has sites in ten states along the West Coast, has been dedicated to serving only the best hot dogs. In addition to the elusive corn dogs and mini corn dogs, Wienerschnitzel serves hot dogs with a variety of toppings.
5. Sonic-Drive In
A terrific spot to go if you like hot dogs is the chain famed for its roller skate-clad servers, bizarre cocktail concoctions, and occasionally very unusual menu items (typically pickle-related). Currently, Sonic's national menu offers four different hot dogs: the All-American Dog, the Chili Cheese Coney, the Footlong Quarter Pounder Coney and the Corn Dog.
