POCOPSON TOWNSHIP, PENNSYLVANIA: Bam Margera, a former 'Jackass' actor who surrendered himself to Pennsylvania police earlier this week, claimed he is sober and tested negative for meth on Friday, April 28, after his brother accused him of taking the substance. On Wednesday, Bam's brother Jesse issued a series of tweets revealing recent encounters with Bam that made him think the latter was a meth addict.

"For the sake of Phoenix the wolf," Margera, 43, wrote in the caption of a Friday Instagram image about his five-year-old son with ex-wife Nicole Boyd, "Today is the day I will stop drinking." According to the official police report acquired by Page Six, Bam is charged with six distinct offenses, including one act of simple assault, one count of harassment, and four counts of making terroristic threats with the aim to intimidate someone.

'I do want your help'

Margera could be seen carrying what appeared to be a bottle of alcohol in the picture that was posted on Friday. Boyd filed for divorce back in February because she feared he would be around their child while inebriated. Even worse, he insisted that she was preventing him from seeing the child until he got sober. Margera captioned the post which read: "Today is the day I will stop drinking. I have been through official termoil (sic) with my family. My dumb brother doesn’t understand that it’s not called castle Jess. It’s actually called castlebam. It’s mine."

Margera, who spent time in and out of rehab centers in 2022, also addressed his brother's allegations that he was under the influence of meth during an altercation in which the drummer filed charges of assault. He held what seemed to be drug test results while posing outside of urgent care and turning off the camera. The caption stated: "Well my brother made false accusations of me being on meth. But when I wear to god and Phoenix the wolfs life I’m not, I went with my lawyers to urgent care. Guess what Jesse margera. The results are negative. Now you will be evicted from castlebam sooner than later."

Lamar Odom offered Margera free housing at his brand-new California rehab facility, as reported by TMZ, and Margera accepted the offer in the third post. "Lamar Odom, I just heard your message. Yes, I do want your help," the formerly-pro skateboarder said.

According to Lamar, his first piece of advice is for Bam to use his faith, if it plays any role in his life, to help him through difficult times. Odom also personally invited Margera to one of the three Odom Wellness Treatment Centers, which he co-owns and runs, to address his substance abuse concerns.

Bam Margera's brother accuses him of doing meth

After reportedly assaulting the 44-year-old CKY drummer on April 23 near Pocopson Township in Pennsylvania, Margera went hiding for three days before coming forward with Jess' accusation. He claimed that Margera was "unrecognizable" because his younger brother had used meth, which had caused him to have a "meltdown." Additionally, according to Jess, Bam left a note that said, "If you even f–king think of calling the police on me I will officially f–k you up."

The brother of the former 'Jackass' star expressed concern online claiming that Bam is currently in an unstable situation. The 44-year-old musician claimed on Twitter on Wednesday, April 26, that he is trying to stay "positive" because his younger brother is the "sweetest" when he is "not messed up," but added that due to the MTV alum's "meth habit, [he's] unrecognizable & I really don't know what he's capable of."

The violent argument between Bam and Jess was reported to the Pennsylvania State Police, who after learning of the alleged incident issued an arrest warrant for the former professional skateboarder. In Pennsylvania, where State Police assert Bam got into a dispute with his family before escaping into the woods, he gained an arrest warrant.

'Quit doing drugs too bro'

Followers reacted to Margera's Instagram posts with one person commenting, "Quit doing drugs too bro, itll help." Another one commented, "I'm telling u more than 95% of your problems will go away once you get sober. I know its hard I was on drugs for 10+ years and will have 3 years clean in September. It was so hard to ever imagine my life without drugs but life is way better without it. You can do it.. you're way stronger then you think." "You’ve got this. Don’t look back. I’m cycling from England to Australia to shake off my addictions now too. For the sake of my future and everyone around me I need to factory reset," yet another posted.

Influencer Arron Crascall commented, "Bro you need your family! Enough is enough! You need to go right this second to get help and finally be free." Artist Rob Swavely said, "Love you nerd! Be cool. One step at a time. I’m here as always bud-you know this! Ttyl. Jesse probably didn’t give you your painting I left ;( it’s ok. Made you another one." Gary Dolan commented, "C'mon man, the world doesn't work like this. Get help, get your head straight, and stop playing the God damn victim every day of your life. When will you realize you're the catalyst in all of these bad things happening in your life?"

Some social media users took to Twitter to express their views. One user tweeted, "This is so messed up." Another wrote, "This guy has been given chance after chance because he's a "celebrity" of some kind. If it had been a regular Joe, he would have been in jail a long time ago. Bam has made it clear he doesn't want help. He needs to be locked up instead of continuously enabled!!!" Yet another posted, "This story is just getting more and more sad every day, hopefully one day he finally accepts the help people have been trying to give him."
