“Normally I don't condone this kind of thing, but anyone that exploiting people's faith, spirituality, & kindness can get a free pass to Toll-town Hell. You think Joel Osteen will ever rot in prison? What if he had a counterfeit $20? No, I don't feel sorry for him one bit,” a user added.

This comes almost a month after Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Texas found itself engulfed in controversy after a plumber discovered envelopes full of cash and checks behind a loose toilet. The unnamed plumber spoke about the bizarre discovery on a radio station on November 10. The Sun reported that he said, “There was a loose toilet in the wall, and we removed the tile. We went to go remove the toilet, and I moved some insulation away and about 500 envelopes fell out of the wall, and I was like ‘Oh wow!’ before adding: “I went ahead and contacted the maintenance supervisor that was there, and I turned it all in.”
