While McDonald's has a strict policy for workplace relationships, it appears that not many of its workers tend to follow it. A viral TikTok finds a McDonald's employee leaking info about the workplace. User @kaliesemonee popularly posts videos related to her work at the fast food chain company. And this time, the TikToker decided to spill some major tea about the ongoing romance at the workplace. The five-second reel of @kaliesemonee features her standing in front of the drive-thru window while shaking a lemon iced cup in her hands and holding a vicious smirk indicating that she has a clue about the office couple.

The TikTok had a text overlay, "When them 2 coworkers stop talking out of nowhere and everything start making sense." She captioned the post with, "Llike ohhhh so when this happennn." Now, while the context of the video might be a bit vague to others, people who work at food chain companies instantly knew what @kaliesemonee was depicting through the clip. As per speculations, the viral TikTok is referring to co-workers hooking up in the workplace.

The content was posted on the video-sharing app on September 24 and has riled up more than 265,000 views at the time of writing. It also successfully urged many other workers to come forward with their experiences. "Especially when it’s the two that’s been there since the beginning," a user commented. "Indeed do or you see who be flirting with who," another netizen shared their story.

While several viewers appeared to be disgusted by the whole concept, some food chain staff admitted to being in workplace relationships themselves. "Worse mistake of my life," a top comment read. "I worked smoothie place with a walk in freezer and they would leave me by myself to go in there and then they just never spoke again," another user said. "I stop talking to em bc he started calling me pet names bruh, we’re coworkers wtf," a user shared. "It’s his fault for catching feelings in only ONE day. I was focusing on my bag sir," a user stated.

Finally, the owner of the TikTok video joined the thread and commented, "My mama told me to never shit in my own backyard & i will never [fuck with] one of my coworkers so i feel this," about never wanting to pursue a co-worker romantically. Now, McDonald's policy does not prohibit sexual relationships between employees, however, it does draw a line. The policy strictly states, "Employees who have a direct or indirect reporting relationship to each other are prohibited from dating or having a sexual relationship."
