Following the crash, netizens were quick to react. One wrote, "To me, from watching the horrific Black Hawk crash footage, in Alabama, the helicopter appears to emerge from the clouds upside down. You can tell because the vertical stabilizer is facing down. Spatial disorientation? This is very tragic. RIP." Another said, "falling like a rock." An individual pointed out, "What the hell is going on?? Military Black Hawk helicopter crashes. Trains carrying hazardous materials derailing. Trucks carrying hazardous materials "tipping over". Too many in just a few days to be a coincidence."

Too many in just a few days to be a coincidence.
Many continued to share with one writing, "That Blackhawk helicopter going down, and deaths reported, is such a heartbreaker. It’s like we cannot get away from bad things happening." On the other hand, many shared footages that captured the crash from different angles. One of them wrote, "Another angle of the Blackhawk crash in Harvest, Alabama from home surveillance. You can hear the engine going but the chopper descends at high rate with no resistance from rotors as it nose dives at end." While a user asked, "We supposedly put people on the Moon 50 years ago but we can’t keep a Blackhawk helicopter in the air?"

What is the cause of crash?
National Guard spokesperson Robert Carver said in a statement, "It is premature to discuss possible causes of the crash. Like all military aircraft mishaps, the incident will be investigated. The National Guard will support law enforcement and other first responders handling the crash site," reports ABC News.
