COHASSET, MASSACHUSETTS: Ana Walshe, a 39-year-old real estate investment manager and mother of three young boys, has been missing since January 1. However, her disappearance wasn't reported to the police until January 4. While the search continues, her husband Brian Walshe, 47, has been arrested for misleading investigators. Brian had claimed that his wife took a ride to Boston's Logan International Airport and has since disappeared. He was arrested on January 8 and is held on $500,000 bail. Shortly after, he pleaded 'not guilty'. Ana Walshe's best friend Alissa Kirby in a recent interview described her last meeting with the missing woman. Kirby got really emotional as she talked about Ana and Brian's marriage.

Ana met her husband Brian in 2008. At the time, her name was Anna Ljubicic Knipp and she was working at the Wheatleigh Hotel in the Berkshires. Brian is the son of a renowned Boston neurosurgeon. The two tied the knot in Serbia in 2015 and began living together in a wealthy seaside suburb south of Boston. Cohasset Police were recently seen searching behind an apartment in Swampscott. Authorities have also been searching for items Brian may have disposed of during his trip. Meanwhile, police have revealed that they found blood on a damaged knife in the basement of the house and that Brian had purchased $450 worth of cleaning supplies

Alissa Kirby recently broke down in tears, as reported by Express, while talking about her friend. She first talked about the last time she saw Ana, saying that she met Anna on Thursday night, December 29, before they both went out for a fun night to get dinner and go dancing. She recalled, "And then she left that Friday morning to go back to Boston."

While speaking of Ana and Brian's marriage, Kirby disclosed that the couple were having fights about moving to DC as Ana wanted to be her children. "They had had many fights about, like when are we finally gonna come to DC, when am I going to be with my kids, that was her priority and so I know they were experiencing a lot stress together and I knew it had been a very tense Christmas. So, I mean a lot of that we discussed also," said Kirby.

However, she mentioned that there was never any indication from Ana that she feared for her life or that she "felt unsafe'. Kirby added," It was just the frustration of I just want to be with my kids, I just want to be back here." Talking about Ana and Brian's marriage Kirby claimed that Ana described Brian as her 'best friend'. "They were very close, like love at first sight, that was always what she said that she trusted him that anything he may have done wrong in the past, it was just bad choices, he was a good person," Kirby said. Kirby broke down as she described the recent events as "jarring, gut-wrenching and uncomfortable."
