'The Walking Dead' Season 11 Episode 4: Daryl shocked by unexpected return
‘The Walking Dead’ is into its final season and the first three episodes have been really good as compared to the previous edition. The previous episode saw Agatha (Laurie Fortier) and Duncan (Marcus Lewis) becoming the latest casualties. Meanwhile, Alden (Callan McAuliffe) is mortally wounded by a couple of reapers and although he is later found by Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), his wounds are deep and he might not be saved.
However, episode 4 particularly focuses on Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and his dog. The episode starts with the Reaper brawl that fans saw in Episode 3. To save himself from the wrath of the Reapers, he runs away along with his dog. Everyone believed that he might be running away somewhere else, but we know how Daryl uses his stealth mode.

He used his techniques and got inside the headquarters of the Reapers. The protagonist wanted to know everything about them and how they work. For a good amount of time, he remains undiscovered. But eventually, he is caught and after a bit of struggle, something really dangerous happens. One of the reapers takes control of the Dog and the reaper grabs the Dog in a way that forced him to cry for help.
The scene will make you feel that the pooch is in danger but after seeing him in such a position, Daryl shouts, “No! No!” But the fact of the matter is that there is no way he can confront them because he is easily outnumbered. Daryl gets away from the group and spends the night hiding in the darkness.
The next morning, he runs into a masked reaper who was grabbing the Dog by the collar. Daryl is really worried for the dog’s safety and when we thought that something really weird will happen, it actually happens. We are introduced to a character that will take everyone’s breath away and you will be on the edge of your seats.
As soon as the reaper removes the mask, we get to see the blonde woman who used to live with Daryl in the cabin. Yes, that’s right, LEAH is alive and back on the show. Daryl is overpowered by Leah’s group and the group, which is famous for torturing people, shows no mercy to Daryl. He is brought back to the headquarters of the Reapers. They ask him about other people, but Daryl is a tough guy and he doesn’t give away any kind of information to the Reapers.
A few moments later, we see Daryl and Leah talking with each other in which Leah tells him that she was a soldier before the zombie apocalypse happened. The leader of the Reapers, Pope, tells that she was in Afghanistan and some of her partners are now a part of the group. Leah then confronts Daryl about leaving her inside the cabin, but Daryl reveals that he did not leave her behind and when he came back to take her, it was too late. She confesses that she still cares about him and always prays that nothing bad happens to him.
In the end, he lets out all the details about the group. He tells Leah about Maggie (Lauren Cohan) being the leader now and everything else. But he never tells her that he is a part of the group. The revelations might change everything for Maggie and the group. Although Daryl believes that Reapers are not prepared for Maggie’s group, we believe that the Reapers are not children, they are a group with killers who know just one thing: torture people.
