'The Walking Dead' Season 10 Episode 19 Preview: Gabriel, Aaron face ultimate test as 'One More' sees skeletons

'Ultimate test' could mean many other things, and while we are pretty sure it is the emotional toil of the two, it could even be related to deaths

Spoilers for 'The Walking Dead' Season 10 Episode 19 'One More'

Season 10 bonus episodes of 'The Walking Dead' are almost halfway through with the premiere of Episode 19. 'One More' coming this week is Episode 3 of the six bonus episodes. While many expect the series to always deliver intense storylines in all their episodes, the show has given each character as much time as it could. 'One More' will dive into two characters — Aaron (Ross Marquand) and Gabriel Stokes (Seth Gilliam). These characters have not had much attention. And how could they with Maggie back, the Pope and the Reapers storyline and a cute dog and Daryl's crush Leah.

But this episode will be different. This time we'll see the duo being put to the test or rather 'ultimate test' (no matter how ironic it is considering they are living in a zombie apocalypse). The official synopsis of 'One More' reads, "With Maggie's map, Gabriel and Aaron search for food and supplies to bring back to Alexandria. Checking out one more location, they chance upon a stash. Faith is broken and optimism is fragmented when they are put to the ultimate test." The episode is written by Erik Mountain, Jim Barnes and directed by Laura Belsey.

How are Aaron and Gabriel tested?

Screen Rant's exclusive clip shows the duo trying to find supplies using the help of a map, thanks to Maggie. Of course, looking for supplies is one of the hardest things to do since many factions are doing the same as they are. While that is already such a dim thought, Aaron ends up seeing three burnt skeletons behind what the publication called a burned-out structure. The three bodies were close together and looks to be a family with two adults and one child. We hear Aaron ask, "What happened here?" and Gabriel responds, "We'll never know."

We think that looking for supplies when nothing is going right and you have people who need to be kept alive is probably the 'test' they are speaking of. They could be speaking of the emotional toll on the duo, especially in the said opening minutes of the episode. It's just way too sad. But this is 'The Walking Dead' and we're sure that 'ultimate test' could mean many other things. Even deaths.
