Who is Nathan Chester on 'The Voice' Season 25?

Nathan Chester, originally from Chicago, Illinois, is a professional singer on cruise ships. Alongside his girlfriend, Emily Viancourt, he co-founded Em&N Productions. Additionally, Nathan harbors a particular fondness for cheesecake.

Chester delivered a powerful rendition of Al Green's 'Take Me to the River' during his Blind Audition on the second episode of the season. His performance captivated both John Legend and Dan + Shay, earning him a spot on Team Legend as he aims to revive the Motown style of James Brown.

Legend voiced his admiration for Nathan's soulful voice and commitment to a throwback style, affirming his belief in Nathan's promising future. Although Chester won his Battle against Bryan Olesen, Bryan was saved by a Playoff Pass. Legend decided Nathan would sing a duet of Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' because he knew they could deliver the powerful vocals the song required.

Chester left the judges in awe with his rendition of "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" by Elvin Bishop during the Knockouts, demonstrating his vocal prowess with a surprise split performance of "Oh! Darling!" by The Beatles during the Playoffs.

Legend praised Chester for his powerful performances and emphasized his strong singing abilities, earning him a spot in the Live Shows. During the Live Shows, he performed songs by Jackie Wilson, Otis Redding, and The Cure in collaboration with Maddi Jane and Bryan Olesen.
