Who is Mac Royals in 'The Voice' Season 24?
Mac was raised without his father, who spent a large portion of his youth behind bars, but he found comfort in the strong female role models in his life.
He began playing the violin in elementary school and subsequently attended Arkansas Baptist College to seek a degree in music management.
Mac started polishing his live performing talents at his father's R&B nightclub, which he built when his father was released from prison. In order to achieve his goals, Mac relocated to Los Angeles in 2016.
His friend recorded Mac's singing at the Santa Monica Pier one day and shared it on Facebook. After the video became popular, P Diddy, Andre Harrell, and Stevie Wonder all collaborated.
2019 saw the deaths of Mac's cherished grandma and, a year later, his father. Mac had to put his music career on hold and return to Arkansas as a result of these occurrences.
But one night, he had a vivid dream in which his father came to him and emphasized their military ancestry. Mac became even more determined to pursue his aspirations as a result of this event.
'The Voice' Season 24 airs on Mondays at 8 pm/ET and Tuesdays at 9 pm/ET on NBC.
