UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: The final night of 'The Voice' battles round ended with a bang as OG coach Blake Shelton finally decided to use his save lifeline to keep The Dryes in the competition.

For the battles round, Blake paired The Dryes with Bryce Leatherwood. The celebrity coach was curious to see how these classic country-sounding artists would sound together, so he picked Brooks & Dunn's 'Red Dirt Road' as the battles song. After grueling training sessions with Blake and battles advisor Jimmie Allen, the trio stepped onto the stage ready to deliver their final performance. Though the odds seemed in The Dryes' favor considering they were already a duo, surprisingly, the couple managed to mess up their initial notes. Despite the glitch, The Dryes bravely continued with their performance and gave it their best shot. On the other hand, Bryce stayed consistent throughout the song and delivered a very memorable performance with his classic country vocals.

By the end of their performance, Blake couldn't help but point out how The Dryes sounded "out of pocket" initially but recovered as the performance went on. He lauded the couple for remaining unfazed and professional despite their goof-up. So, when it was time to decide the winner of the battle, Blake leaned on his fellow coaches' suggestions and picked Bryce as the winner.

But the country icon wasn't ready to give up on The Dryes just yet, as he felt that they had a lot of potential waiting to be untapped. So, he decided to give them a second chance by utilizing the save lifeline he had been saving up for the right moment. In his green room interview, Blake sounded pleased about being able to help The Dryes by giving them a second chance as they deserved it.

The Dryes were flattered by their coach's belief in them and vowed to work harder and deliver a better performance. So get ready to watch Team Blake's The Dryes and Bryce in the upcoming knockouts round!
