‘The Voice’ Knockouts: John Legend and Ariana Grande vie for Holly Forbes again
Singer Holly Forbes, who earned the rare four-chair turn during the blind auditions of ‘The Voice’ Season 21, had then sparked a battle between Ariana Grande and John Legend. Ariana had blocked John to make sure he did not have any opportunity to bag Holly but she ultimately landed in Team Kelly. Cut to the knockouts, the fans again got to witness the drama between the two coaches as they again battled it out for Holly Forbes.
The knockouts on 'The Voice' saw Kelly Clarkson pitting Holly Forbes against the family trio called Girl Named Tom. While Holly exhibited her singing skills on the song ‘Superstar’, Girl Named Tom perfectly layered the harmonies with their rendition of ‘Wichita Lineman’. The coaches namely Blake Shelton, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Ariana Grande looked thoroughly impressed with both the performances as they had the opportunity to steal the one who loses the round.

Holly Forbes sparks battle between coaches again
Holly Forbes was the first one to perform followed by her opponent Girl Named Tom. The latter got a standing ovation from all the coaches. However, Blake Shelton and Ariana Grande thoroughly praised Holly Forbes for her exceptional singing. Despite getting a lot of attention, Holly lost to the trio as Kelly Clarkson picked the group for the Live playoffs.
Holly Forbes would have gone home if Ariana and John would not have pressed their respective buzzers to continue her journey. Ariana, who tried to bag the singer during the blinds, again tried her best to convince and so did John. The two coaches eyed Holly to make their respective teams stronger. After fans enjoyed a fan banter between the two coaches, Holly ultimately picked Ariana Grande as her mentor. Now, both Girl Named Tom and Holly Forbes will perform at the Live playoffs.
