Despite facing flak at the beginning of ‘The Voice’ season 21, the group called Girl Named Tom emerged as the winners of the singing reality show. Wendy Moten from Team Blake lost the crown to the sibling trio even after being a fan favorite from day one. Girl Named Tom became the very first trio to win the show giving their mentor Kelly Clarkson her fourth win on the renowned singing show.

While many celebrated the win of Girl Named Tom, others took to Twitter to slam the show claiming that Wendy Moten got robbed for real also dubbing the show as “racist.” Paris Winningham from Team Blake and Jershika Maple from Team John were two other favorites who failed to lift the coveted trophy. Wendy, who is already an established singer, managed to impress all the coaches and the audience with her powerful vocals and the ability to easily pull off high notes.  Moten’s coach Blake Shelton was recently slammed for being biased towards her as many claimed he royally ignored his other team member Paris Winningham.
