Kelly Clarkson takes on a live spider

During the recent Playoffs episode of 'The Voice,' viewers were in for a shock when an uninvited guest dropped in and caused a bit of a stir. Chance got more than he bargained for when he noticed an eight-legged creature perched on his chair. "I just realized there are spider webs and a spider on my chair," he exclaimed, taken aback by the discovery. However, this was just the beginning of the unexpected event that would take place. Fellow coach Clarkson, who has a reputation for being a bit of a daredevil, stepped up to take a closer look at the spider. "I actually love spiders," she said, which left her fellow coaches in disbelief. When Chance challenged her to pick up the spider, Clarkson didn't hesitate for a second. "OK!" she exclaimed, as she gently coaxed the tiny creature onto her finger and invited it to make itself at home on her chair. "Now it's my spider," she declared triumphantly.

As the cameras continued to roll, the coaches couldn't help but marvel at the unusual situation that was unfolding before them. "We need to take a video," exclaimed Chance, who was clearly enjoying the unexpected turn of events. "Possibly the coolest and grossest thing I've seen on the set of The Voice," he added. The spider incident ended up being a bit of a tension breaker for Chance, who was struggling with having to cut members from his team. "This round is definitely making people bring their A-game," he admitted, adding, "I have no idea how I'm gonna pick only two."

Despite the spider's unexpected appearance stealing the show for a moment, the singing competition continued as planned. Jamar Langley's performance of 'The Thrill Is Gone' drew praise from coaches Clarkson and Horan, who were impressed by his playfulness and growth as a performer.

'The Voice' always keeps audience on the edge of their seats with unexpected twists and turns. From incredible singing performances to handling spiders, there is always something to keep viewers engaged and entertained.
