PARIS, FRANCE: The ongoing thriller miniseries 'The Veil' delves into the dark world of espionage, intrigue, and covert operations.

The series, which is the creative brainchild of Steven Knight, revolves around Imogen Salter (Elisabeth Moss), a skilled MI6 operative sent to retrieve Adilah El Idrissi (Yumna Marwan), a woman who is believed to be the notorious terrorist known as Djinn al Raqqa.

The third episode of the show provides deeper insight into the evil scheme of terrorists plotting a sinister act.

On the other hand, Adilah is currently in Paris. However, things take an unexpected turn when Imogen reveals a deeply ingrained truth about her past, shedding light on her motives.

Adilah El Idrissi demands Imogen Salter to reveal her true intentions in 'The Veil' Episode 3

As established in earlier episodes, Adilah is certain that Imogen is not entirely honest with her. So, in the latest episode, she boldly pulls a pistol on her and demands to know her true identity.

Unexpectedly, Imogen shares personal details of her life, revealing that her father, a British diplomat, was assassinated in Istanbul. She believes his career as a British ambassador was merely a front.

Imogen also shares her belief that the communist party in Turkey was responsible for her father's murder, alleging that the CIA is the one that controls the political party.

She acknowledges her role as an intelligence operative and admits that she was with Adilah because they initially mistook her for the leader Al Raqqa of the terror group.

Imogen then successfully convinces Adilah that her true intention to help her stems from her desire for Adilah to live a normal life with her daughter.

Subsequently, the two are seen at a pub, where Imogen meets with CIA agent Max Peterson (Josh Charles), under the guise of smoking, and it is revealed that Imogen has been working for the Americans.

She was quite explicit in telling Max that she believed Adilah was the main threat and that she needed Imogen to protect her daughter.

Additionally, Imogen offers to keep French intelligence at bay if Max can provide evidence that her father was killed by the CIA.

Max declines, but she threatens him with a deeply buried secret, eventually convincing him to comply with Imogen's demands.

Conversely, a guy leaves a message for Adilah under the guise of flirting, suggesting they should meet and bring 'her' along.

Max is gone when Adilah emerges to look for Imogen, but once again, Imogen promises to help Adilah.

The last moments of the episode reveal that the stolen cores from the radiography machine are being transported to America on a ship as a gesture of goodwill, indicating that Raqqa's plan to launch a terrorist assault is still very much on track.

Following the conclusion of episode 3, viewers are thrust into the intricate game of deception between Imogen and Adilah, as each pursues their own goals. It remains to be seen what kind of fruit this deceit would bring to the two women.
