'The Titan Games' Season 2 Premiere: Joe Thomas, Chantae McMillan labeled 'absolute beasts' as they retain titles
'The Titan Games' Season 2 had a two-hour premiere, and gosh, wasn't it an intense one. Competitors fought it out with challenges like the Launch Pad, Nuts and Bolts, Herculean Pull and Lunar Impact. The winner had to take on the 'Titan', a professional and award-winning athlete at Mount Olympus. If they defeated them, they became the new Titan. The episode had spectacular performances and memorable moments, for instance when Chantae McMillan won against Alex Baillet, and then defeated renowned boxer Claressa Shields at Olympus. McMillan defended her 'Titan' title against her other opponent and dominated the show. A premiere, that fans aren't going to forget in a hurry!
Meanwhile, NFL player Joe Thomas didn't have it quite so easy, against the competitors. Matthew Chan was determined and fierce-willed to the last. However, Thomas beat him by a millisecond. Following this, Thomas went up against Steven Shelby, who also seemed quite promising at first. Unfortunately, Shelby had a soul-crushing defeat and wasn't able to win the Titan title.
