The Chameleon, The Piglet and Robopine are still in the competition and will clash in Super Six episode on May 5, 2021 (Fox)

'The Masked Singer' fans are set up for disappointment as Season 5 airs its first sing-along episode. The show is known to air these specials ahead of an interesting episode, in this case, the Super Six episode. The Black Swan, Chameleon, Russian Dolls, Yeti, Robopine, and the Piglet are still standing strong in the competition.

Audiences who waited a week to see the clash between these absolutely talented and entertaining celebrities behind these masks will, unfortunately, have to wait another week. The Super Six will not be competing and there will be no eliminations on the episode this week. For the first time ever, Nick Cannon will host 'The Maskie Awards', a special sing-a-long episode celebrating the "best of" Season Five on Wednesday, April 28.

When will the Super Six episode of 'The Masked Singer' air?

The remaining six masked celebrities will compete in the episode titled 'The Spicy Six - The Competition Heats Up' which is scheduled to air on Wednesday, May 6, 2021, at 8 pm ET on Fox. As announced ahead of Season 5, country singer and 'This Is Us' star Chrissy Metz will make an appearance on what is the last episode before the quarter finals.

All contestants who have been eliminated from Season 5

Snail aka Kermit the Frog

The Snail was the first non-human contestant in the history of the American iteration of 'The Masked Singer'. He was the first contestant to be eliminated from Season 5 and instead of the usual unmasking, the reveal happened by the Snail's shell cracking open. After his exit, in an interview, Kermit confirmed that the Muppets knew about his presence on the show but he made sure they kept the news under wraps. "When I went to do Masked Singer, I turned off the Wi-Fi, locked the stage door, and kept them distracted by giving them a room full of bubble wrap to pop. This way they couldn't tell anyone anything until after the show was over," he said.

Pheonix aka Caitlyn Jenner

Phoenix's clue package had a lot of giveaway hints about the transgender activist's identity including the one which stated her children were as famous as her. Caitlyn was the first contestant to be eliminated from Group B, but Kylie and Kendall both knew about her presence on the show. "I told both of them because we're really close. And I said, 'You can't believe it, girls, this is what I'm doing.' And when I told them I was doing The Masked Singer, they both said the exact same thing: 'Why are you doing that?!'" Caitlyn said after her ouster.

Raccoon aka Danny Trejo

The raccoon was one of the coolest personalities to have ever graced 'The Masked Singer' stage. His cover performance on 'Wild Things' by The Troggs will forever be considered as one of the best performances from the show. Even though he wasn't the best singer, Trejo as the Raccoon singing the song was enough to get all the judges on their feet as well as audiences watching from home all excited about his identity. He was eliminated in the third episode from Group A.

Grandpa Monster aka Logan Paul

Controversial YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul was eliminated when Group B came back on stage for the playoffs. His clue package also included the part about him being shunned by people for filming a dead body for his vlog.

Orca aka Mark McGrath

Mark McGrath from Sugar Ray was under the Orca mask, the first wildcard contestant of 'The Masked Singer' in history. "I was freaked out to do the show because it's a singing competition, you know? Yes, I do make my living as a singer, but I was terrified to do the show to begin with," McGrath said after his elimination.

Crab aka Bobby Brown

The Crab aka Bobby Brown was the first masked celebrity to be eliminated from the Top 8 lineup of 'The Masked Singer' Season 5. After elimination, Brown spoke about the heartbreak he endured after the passing of his daughter Bobbi Kristina and son Bobby Brown Jr due to drug overdose. He also revealed that he was doing the show to prove to his younger kids that he still had it.

Seashell aka Tamera Mowry-Housley

Seashell's clues included a lot of hints that directly pointed to Tamera Mowry-Housley and her fans knew it was her behind the mask after her very first appearance on 'The Masked Singer'. Her clue packages had a lot of mentions about her popular show 'Sister, Sister', her twin Tia Mowry and also a pink bell that was a nod to her career as a Hallmark movie actress. She was the second contestant to be eliminated from the Top 8 lineup.
