After a week-long hiatus in the Thanksgiving week, 'The Masked Singer' Season 2 returned on Wednesday night for an all-new episode. Last week we witnessed one of the biggest reveals when the Flower was unmasked and it turned out to be Pattie Labelle.

Tonight, four of the toughest masked celebrities went head to head in two face-offs. Tonight's competition featured The Butterfly vs The Fox and The Thingamajig vs The Tree.

For another week in a row, guest judge Joel McHale joined the other four judges, Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke for the contest.

The first battle of the night was between The Butterfly and The Fox. The Butterfly performed first and in the clue package, she revealed that she can find herself becoming stronger than something she was before.

She also said that the metamorphosis has helped her tackle some of her deepest insecurities.

The clue package also hinted that she was in broadway and that she is used to sharing the stage with giants. The Butterfly performed her rocking rendition of Demi Lovato's 'Sorry Not Sorry'. It was an impeccable performance and she definitely sounded like a seasoned professional singer.

She performed inside a boxing ring proving that she came to fight and isn't going down without one. The judges, who were left stunned by her performance, speculated that it might be Leona Lewis, Carrie Washington, Michelle Williams or Monica under the mask.

The next performance was by the Fox, who has been trying to outfox the panel all along. Sharing that he decided to become the Fox because they are cunning and strong and often underestimated, the clue package hinted that he has felt that way for a long time in his career.

The clue package also hinted that he is a true blue superhero. Performing his version of 'Tennesse Whiskey' by Chris Stapleton, the Fox delivered a stunning performance.

After his performance, the Fox hinted that he is glad to be working with his friends even though they have no idea he is working with them. The judges speculated that it might be Jamie Foxx, A J McClain or Taye Diggs.

The votes were in, and the winner of the face-off was the Fox. However, the Butterfly will have a chance to fight for redemption in the Smackdown. Taking to social media after the performance, fans wondered how the Fox won over the Butterfly.

Taking to Twitter, a fan wrote, "I'm sorry but just because a guy uses falsetto it doesn't mean he's better than Michelle Williams." Another said, "How tf did Fox shutdown Butterfly?"

"I disagree with that. I'm sorry," shared another fan. Do you think it was a fair vote? Let us know. 'The Masked Singer' Season 2 airs every Wednesday night only on Fox. Check your local listings for more information.
