'The Masked Singer' Season 4: All we know about Group B performers and fan guesses about who's under the masks
It's time for the second episode of 'The Masked Singer' to air. In an hour from now, six brand new celebrities from Group B will ascend on 'TMS' stage in elaborate costumes. The masked celebrities performing tonight are Crocodile, Gremlin, Seahorse, Whatchamacallit, Baby Alien and Serpent. In a special season preview episode that aired on September 13, the show had introduced all the participating masked celebs as well as revealed the first clues about them.
Like every previous season, this year too, fans are ready with their guesses about who the celebrities under some of the masks are on basis of the clue package videos. Keep reading for all we know about the Group B performers and also popular fan guesses about some of the personalities under the masks.
Crocodile
“A special set of keys reversed my game forever. Tic-tac-whoa! America, you’ve never met a reptile like me. I promise my identity will never be guessed by you” challenged the croc in the clue package video.
Popular guesses that emerged after the first clue among 'Masked Singer' fans are record producer-rapper-DJ, Swiss Beatz and actor-standup comedian Kel Mitchell.
Gremlin
Gremlin's clue package video said, “Check the gremlin manual and you’ll see, I can thrive when the temperature is a cool 66.5%. America, trust me when you hear my ferocious voice, you won’t believe your ears."
Seahorse
“Living in the ocean can be dangerous, so it’s always good to find a quiet place to hide. America, you’ll never figure out who I am, even if you try your sea-level best," said the seahorse mask in the clue package video.
From what fans have seen in the clue package video, a lot of them believe that it's Emily Blunt and a number of them also believe that it could be YouTuber James Charles.
Whatchamacallit
“Some might say that my career had a magical start. America, I know you’re hair-dyeing to know my identity, but forget about trying to figure out who I am, can someone just tell me what I am? Oh right, I’m whatchamacallit.”
Chris Angel, 'AGT' winner Shin Lim and YouTuber Austin McBroom are some of the popular guesses for this masked celebrity.
Baby Alien
“If you’re looking for a hint about this Baby Alien, all you have to do is look to the stars. America, trying to figure out this unidentified flying object will leave you lost in space," is the first clue about Baby Alien which is one of the most unique masks ever in 'Masked Singer' history.
A lot of fans believe that this is the first mask that is a puppet and is voiced by ventriloquist and 'AGT' winner Darci Lynne Farmer. A close second is Jeff Dunham.
Serpent
“If you want to know how I instantly appeared, here’s the prescription number [“#31118” shown on a prescription bottle on screen] to my identity. America, I hate to snake it to you, but figuring out my identity is a game you just can’t win. Fangs for playing," said the clue package, according to The Wrap.
