‘The Good Doctor’ Season 3 Episode 12: Dr Claire makes a patient’s wish come true and fans love the gesture
Dr Claire Browne might have lost her charm for a while but she is back! She was always that one person at St Bonaventure Hospital, who would exhibit all the warmth and affection for her patients, even if they were difficult ones. This characteristic of hers made her stand out from the rest. Having lost her mother and battling drug and alcohol addiction, she went astray from herself and ended up making a few stupid mistakes along the way.
Finally, Claire has found her way back as seen in this week’s episode when she helped a teenage patient’s wish come true. Angie had been in remission from cancer, while her boyfriend, Ryan, got admitted. As soon as the tests cleared Ryan of his tumor, Angie relapsed. While being admitted for tests and surgery, she expressed her wish to go to the high school prom dance with her boyfriend, which of course, her mother wouldn’t allow.
Seeing this, Claire felt that the young girl’s wishes should come true. After all, you only get one chance to have a prom night and Claire herself never had a chance to enjoy that as a teenager. Empathizing with her patient, Claire plans a prom within the hospital, invites Ryan to be Angie’s date and gives her a memorable night. Seeing this, fans cannot get over the affection Dr Claire has shown.
