'The Flash' Season 6 Episode 5 Preview: All eyes on Cisco as he battles the after-effects of suppressing his powers in 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang'

Is this probably the moment where we see Cisco become Vibe again? While fans are torn between a yes and no, the season's second episode showed Cisco as Vibe when Barry views the future
PUBLISHED NOV 5, 2019

Team Flash has not taken the news of Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) imminent death well and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) seems to be like the one who's affected the most. It's obvious and understandable considering he is, after all, Barry's best friend and teammate.

The previous episode, 'There Will Be Blood', shows the two friends going through turmoil and for once Cisco cannot do anything but watch his best friend vanish in the 'Crisis' so that billions can be saved.

Four episodes into the new season, 'The Flash' has ensured every character gets enough screentime to express what they are going through and it is most likely that the upcoming episode, 'Kiss Kiss Breach Breach' is all about Cisco.

From The CW's official synopsis and promo, it seems like Barry and Iris (Candice Patton) will be absent for the majority of the episode, while Caitlyn Snow/Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) makes it her personal mission to takedown Bloodwork (Sendhil Ramamurthy)

The official synopsis reads: "Cisco's (Carlos Valdes) faith in his ability to fill Barry's (Grant Gustin) shoes as Team Leader is upended when he learns of a shocking murder. Meanwhile, Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) trusts no one except herself to hunt down the dangerous Ramsey Rosso (guest star Sendhil Ramamurthy)."

The promo also shows the return of The Breacher (Danny Trejo). The 30-second promo sees Cisco have visions of sorts and The Breacher explains that it happens when the powers are suppressed.

Is this probably the moment where we see Cisco become Vibe again? While fans are torn between a yes and no, the season's second episode showed Cisco as Vibe when Barry views the future. So at the moment, it is still unclear if Vibe will be back and this episode gives Cisco a chance to suit up as the superhero again.

One frame shows Team Flash being devoured by the 'Crisis' as Ralph Dibny aka The Elongated Man (Hartley Sawyer), Caitlin Snow aka Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) and Iris (Candice Patton) disintegrate with the rest of the world.

The same frame also sees Cisco suited up as Vibe. Although, as an unfortunate development, he's a victim in the 'Crisis' as well.

What are your thoughts on Cisco returning as Vibe in Season 6? 'The Flash' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm on The CW.
