HIDDEN HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Having Sylvester 'Sly' Stallone as your father has several drawbacks. 'The Family Stallone' depicts the Stallones at their most candid. The reality show premiered on May 17 and highlights personal conversations between family members, such as Sly's toughness on his daughters' dates. Sly describes it as his means of keeping 'creeps' away from his girls, but they wish their father would put more effort into getting to know the person before frightening them with his deathly glares.

The first two episodes of Sly's new reality TV program, 'The Family Stallone,' premiered on Paramount+ on May 17. The show revolves around him, his wife Jennifer Flavin, and their three children Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet, so there's much going on right away.

'Girl Dad turns Full-on Rambo'

During the premiere of the family reality show, middle sister Sistine reveals in her confessional, "Dating when you have the dad that we do is rough." The first time a boy came over to meet her parents, their first kiss was interrupted by a silhouette of Sly, who was peering down at the couple from the second-floor balcony. It's safe to say she never saw the boy again.

Sophia said in her confessional that Daddy Sly would go "full-on Rambo with guns" if they brought home any lads. But when it's just the girls, "It's three Cavapoos and a cat and girl dad. He wants to bake with us, he watches 'The Bachelor' with us."

'It has been a bit of a struggle'

When Sly was expressing his desire to see his girls become professional golfers one day, the happy conversation soon turns into the show's first confrontational moment. Sistine tests her dad by saying how she and Sophia's boyfriends would like to play golf with him. Sly was quick to dismiss the idea. When Sistine teases him, saying they might beat him at the game, Sly says that's the end of that. However, the main reason why Sly doesn't want to partake in any activity with his daughters' boyfriends is because "they haven't earned that privilege." This upsets not only his daughters, but his wife too.

Sistine in her confessional adds, "It has been a bit of a struggle for my sister and I to even find a relationship. Not only do we have 'Stallone' attached to our last name, (but) my dad is also very overprotective and quite intimidating." But now that they're older and currently in relationships, one would think that Sly would "really want to make that effort to get to know the boyfriend." And that hasn't exactly happened yet. Sistine reveals that she is currently seeing someone "very special" in her life. She has never had a relationship as good as this one before. "So it does hurt my feelings that there has been (a) very minimal effort on his part."

Sly in his defense says, "Someday you'll see I'm helping you girls. I'm getting rid of these creeps."

The first two episodes of 'The Family Stallone' is now available for streaming on Paramount+. More episodes are to follow every Wednesday thereafter.
