The third season was announced during the San Diego Comic-Con this year while the release date was revealed during the New York Comic-Con last week.

Plot
'The Dragon Prince' is set in a fantasy world on the continent of Xadia, which is rich with magic derived from six primal elements: The Sun, the Moon, the Stars, the Earth, the Sky, and the Ocean. The humans were driven off Xadia due to their use of dark magic by dragons and find five kingdoms on the other end of the continent.
Over 1,200 years later, the elves attempt to assassinate the human king, Harrow and his heir, the young prince Ezran in retaliation for destroying the last dragon egg. However, one of the elves, Rayla, along with Ezran and his older half-brother, Callum realizes the egg wasn't destroyed but stolen by Viren, King Harrow's advisor. The trio set off on a mission to return the egg to the dragons to prevent a war between humans and elves.

Jack DeSena is an American actor and voice actor. He plays Ezran's half-brother, Callum who over the past two seasons becomes the first human ever to wield primal magic without a primal stone.
