It's just been a week since Nany Gonzalez stole Aneesa Ferreira's partner Fessy Shafaat. On paper, they seem like two fiercely competitive people who will get along just fine. But when it came to testing the skills they bring to the partnership, both failed miserably and through no fault of their own.

Host TJ Lavin announced the 'Undercover' task, in which the agents would have to dive in between tectonic plates to pick up a total of six rings but without rising to the surface. If they come above water, they get disqualified. Fessy and Nany were charged and ready to go when he kicked her in the face and threw her game off course. Even then she continued to dive but was able to steer her body in direction of the rings when Fessy tried to pull her down, which some of the fans thought looked like he was "drowning" her. Later, Fessy blamed Nany for them getting disqualified. Aneesa and Kyle Christie were announced winners of the task.

'The Challenge' Spoilers: Will Cory Wharton break his 'curse' and pick up gold skull? Here's an elimination twist

This is not the first time that Fessy has gotten 'too excited' in a task. He was in a Hall Brawl elimination challenge against 'friend' Nelson Thomas, which got nasty as soon as they started running towards each other. When he couldn't tackle Nelson, he played dirty and shut the vizor of his safety helmet leaving his vision compromised. Fessy did win his gold skull that night but was severely criticized for the way he won.

"Wait so you mean Fessy was only looking out for himself?? Shocking. Lol. Kicked Nany in the face and THEN tried to keep her under water? Damn....like.... #TheChallenge36 #TheChallenge," a fan commented, while another shared: "He’s so overrated just for being a FORMER D1 football player like???"

"Fessy is such a self-absorbed asshole... blaming Nany for the DQ meanwhile it’s his fault for kicking her mouth piece off smh #TheChallenge36," one user tweeted. "Fessy unknowingly kicking his partner in the face seems very on-brand for him #TheChallenge36," a viewer pointed out.

"LMAO Fessy kicks her in the face, tries to drown her, then BLAMES NANY. This kid is unintentional comedy gold," a Reddit user posted.
