'The Book of Boba Fett' Episode 7: Was Barriss Offee responsible for saving Grogu from Order 66?
'The Book of Boba Fett' revealed a glimpse of Grogu's past in Episode 6 when it showed how the green biscuit (or a macaroon if you'd like to call him) escaped the devastating Order 66. The scene, which all but lasted a minute still showed enough for fans to debate about the flashback that indicates a connection to 'The Clone Wars'. Speculations were rife on Reddit if Ahsoka Tano's friend, Barriss Offee was the one who saved Grogu although the theory does seem a bit unbelievable.
While the symbol in the hallway shows that the Jedi Temple matched the one seen in disgraced Offee's quarters, chances are that it is just a nod to the character and not necessarily a conclusion as to how she aided in Grogus escape. Following her crimes against the Jedi order, she would most likely be in prison during the great purge. This also doesn't mean that she would appear in the live-action series, at least not in 'The Book of Boba Fett'. Chances are she might be seen 'Ahsoka', the spin-off series that sees Rosario Dawson reprise her role in the spin-off.

All things considered, Grogu is safe and is under the care of Luke Skywalker, but it does appear that the lil tyke will go back to being with the Mandalorian/Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal). With the Jedi toddler still remembering his father figure in Din fondly, Luke struggles to train him to full potential. Mando meets Tano who shows Grogu and Luke training, only to return disappointed that his interference could see the lil kid fail at his training to be a Padawan warrior.
What Grogu chooses to do when he's given a choice between the Lightsaber (this would see Luke continue to train him) or the armor (choosing the Mandalorian way) will surely be the story of 'The Mandalorian' Season 3.
