Elizabeth Keen's dark-era has only just begun and looks like her next target of blacklisters includes her own alleged legal father, Constantin Rostov. You might remember him as Alexander Kirk, but the identity that does signify him is as the man who loved Katarina Rostova the most. And in the wake of Raymon 'Red' Reddington murdering her, it only seems fair that the upcoming episode would see Liz seek vengeance for her mother's death by teaming up with the man who claimed to love her the most.

The reason behind Liz's new team-up is also the promo released by NBC for the upcoming Episode 7 of Season 8. Titled 'Chemical Mary', the episode sees The Task Force in a dire race to stop simultaneous danger presented by two blacklisters, while their head, Harold Cooper, approaches a congressman for intel. This simultaneous danger with token blacklister raising mayhem has us convinced that maybe Liz has more than just succeeded in her plans of recruiting an army against Red for killing Katarina.

We saw her using the Wellstone Agency's help for translation services, and knowing the agency helps crooks in the particular area, there's no denying that Liz's building allies are perhaps not just English-speaking people anymore. And this is what convinces us that when she finally returns in the upcoming episode after being physically absent for two straight weeks now, her army will have multiplied more than just double in its size.

One of the crucial elements in her plan will have to be Constantin or Alexander, whose ways and motives are just as sinister as Katarina's used to be. Now that seems like a close circle goodbye. That's something viewers would definitely like to see unfold, especially given that this is the final season of the show. There's also ample speculation surrounding whether Liz will be the one to take out Red before whatever terminal illness he's suffering from does, and should she falter at the last moment, given her long term bond with the ex-crook, Constantin is a perfect substitute to ensure her plan to avenge her mother's death is executed to fruition. Just some good ole' family fun.

'The Blacklist' Season 8 airs on Friday at 8 PM only on NBC.
