'The Bachelorette' Season 18: Nayte Olukoya proposes to Michelle Young in finale
Season 18 of 'The Bachelorette' has certainly proved to be a wild ride. Between the ups and downs and drama of it all, it finally came down to the last two men that had a hold on Michelle's heart -- Brandon and Nayte. After meeting her parents, it came down to the final decision, who would Michelle pick?
While Nayte struck out with Michelle's parents, Brandon won them over in a heartbeat. However, Michelle has not hesitated from being vocal about how she feels for Nayte. And while she stated that she was in love with Brandon, she also noted that Nayte was her person, her soulmate.

Brandon was the first to approach Michelle when it came down to the final rose ceremony. And while he poured his heart out, Michelle, unfortunately, told him that even though she loved him, her heart wanted something else. Brandon was emotional but supportive and walked away. It was finally Nayte's turn, and he declared that he wanted to "run away to forever" with Michelle. Michelle mentioned that despite their ups and downs, Nayte was the one she wanted to be with. So Nayte went down on one knee and proposed, to which Michelle said yes. The couples were all smiles and laughter. And while many fans argued that she had the wrong choice, other's agreed that it had always been Nayte for Michelle, right from the start.
