SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: K-drama 'The Atypical Family' landed on Netflix on May 4, and since then it has been offering a fantasy blend of romance and mystery. This captivating show introduces us to the Bok family, each member harboring a unique superpower. But their extraordinary lives are shrouded in a tragic past and the arrival of a mysterious woman will cause them to reclaim their powers again.

The Atypical Family's third episode throws viewers into a whirlwind of revelations and cliffhangers. We delve into the tragic past of Bok Gwi-ju (Jang Ki-yong), a man consumed by time travel who neglected his family, leading to his wife's departure.

Bok In-a (Park So-Yi), burdened by the power to hear thoughts through eye contact, avoids social interaction. Meanwhile, Bok Dong-hee (Kim Soo-Hyun), a former flying superhero and Gwi-ju's sister, grapples with lost powers and personal struggles.

Meanwhile, Do Da-hae (Chun Woo-hee), is a mysterious woman who throws the Boks' world into disarray. Her claims of receiving flowers from Gwi-ju in the future and the ability to touch him during his time jumps leave him skeptical.

The climax of Episode 3 in 'The Atypical Family' throws everything into question. Back at home, tensions rise with Dong-hee's arrival. Da-hae, suspicious of her motives, tries to stop her from drinking spiked tea meant for Mrs. Bok.

Da-hae drinks it herself to prove her wrong, leaving herself drowsy while Dong-hee remains vigilant. Meanwhile, Gwi-ju stumbles upon the flowers Da-hae claimed he gave her. Confused, he ponders buying them, then inexplicably time travels back to a date with Da-hae.

Here, things get even more bizarre. Gwi-ju saves Da-hae from a bike accident and, to his surprise, can touch her while time-traveling - a previously impossible feat.

The confusion deepens as Da-hae witnesses Dong-hee levitate slightly. This unexpected display of power leaves Da-hae terrified, and she flees upstairs in a panic. Meanwhile, Mr. Bok's carefree antics at a club are captured on video by Da-hae's brother, adding another layer of mystery to the family dynamics.

The episode culminates in a heart-stopping moment. Da-hae, in a state of utter bewilderment, nearly collides with Gwi-ju at the top of the stairs. He catches her to prevent a fall, but when Da-hae looks back in the mirror, Gwi-ju has vanished.

This raises a multitude of questions: Was Gwi-Ju ever there? Is Da-hae hallucinating due to the drugged tea? Does Gwi-ju's time travel power allow him to exist momentarily in the present but remain unseen? The episode ends with a flabbergasted Da-hae letting out a scream, leaving viewers desperate for answers in the next episode.
