'The 100' Season 7 Episode 6: Clarke and Raven's 'long overdue scene' leaves Princess Mechanic fans emotional
Spoilers for 'The 100' Season 7 Episode 6 'Nakara'
As usual, the finale season of The CW's 'The 100' has never failed to bring tears and while this episode showcased Charmaine Diyoza's (Ivana Milicevic) badassery, John Murphy's (Richard Harmon) protective instinct and Indra (Adina Porter) being her rebel self, fans were floored with Clarke Griffin's (Eliza Taylor) and Raven Reyes's (Lindsey Morgan) scene while on Nakara. "Clarke and Raven scene tonight 7 seasons long overdue. #The100@linzzmorgan & @MisElizaJane chemistry Anything could be happening elsewhere yet you couldn't get me to look elsewhere but on the tv. #The100S7" tweeted a fan with another one writing, "I love seeing raven and Clarke working together again. #the100."
The episode saw Clarke, Raven, Nathan Miller (Jarod Joseph), Niylah (Jessica Harmon) and Jordan Green (Shannon Kook) end up on Planet Nakara after they go through the anomaly stone the first time around. While Raven's Disciple helmet is able to tell her that the stone is in a cave, it began a scary mission to find it. Raven and Clarke end up getting separated from the others because well, the "cave" is an organism - yes, we freaked out too. It's here that we fans got the time we needed with Princess Mechanic - a nickname given to the fan-favorite duo.
"Clarke saying "you are a good person" to raven improved my day a thousand times #The100," tweeted a fan referring to when Clarke tells Raven, "I don't believe in Karma, and if we have a soul Raven, yours isn't cracked." That one line brought up the connection these two characters have in the midst of a very intense situation, "Princess mechanic having an emotional moment - Clarke to raven "you're a good person, the best i know" I CANT STOP CRYINGBF #The100," tweeted one fan with another adding, "raven e Clarke together,,,,, even if it’s in a living organism(?) i still think it’s really cute #The100."
"We actually had a princess mechanic hug inside the stomach of some random alien #The100," tweeted another fan.
The camaraderie between the two has been a long time coming and it seems as though the final season is not disappointing fans. "Yeah this is our season princess Mechanic nation. S7 is f**king IT. #The100". Another fan tweeted, "That Clarke and Raven aka Princess Mechanic scene was everything my soul needed right now. Thank you #the100"
Eliza Taylor did tell MEAWW that there were going to be some Raven and Clarke scenes, and we're hoping for more.
'The 100' airs on Wednesday nights at 8/7c on The CW.
