'The 100' Season 7 Episode 11: Bellamy betrays Clarke, shocked fans ask 'what was that reunion?'
Spoilers for 'The 100' Season 7 Episode 11 'Etherea'
After Bellamy Blake is led to see Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor), Octavia Blake (Marie Avgeropoulos), Echo (Tasya Teles), and Gabriel Santiago (Chuku Modu), he did something that fans are furious about. The entire episode Bellamy had gotten close to the belief that the Shepherd aka Bill Cadogan (John Pyper-Ferguson) was the one to believe in, and since that's how he got to Bardo he has now become a firm believer himself. While fans were excited to finally see Bellamy back, they didn't expect that he would betray Clarke - this is the one reunion everyone was waiting for.
"Sure he's back. i'm glad he's alive, i love him. but he is being an IDIOT. HES JUST GONNA LET THEM TORTURE CLARKE?!? I JUST WANNA SLAP SOME SENSE INTO HIM #BellamyIsBack," wrote a fan.

When Clarke hugged Bellamy she slowly told him that she has a plan and that the key is the Flame. To her surprise, Bellamy told his Shepard that the Flame is destroyed, in turn destroying the chances of Clarke, Octavia, Echo, and Gabriel to ever leave Bardo. To be fair, some fans saw that coming considering Blake kneeled the minute he saw Cadogan. With his allegiance to the Disciples, Bellamy's singlehandedly may have signed the death sentence of "all the people he loves. This is definitely not the reunion that fans were expecting, and some felt cheated. "TF WAS THAT REUNION #BellamyIsBack," wrote one fan with another adding, "OMG THEY ARE LOST WHAT DID YOU DO BELLAMY #BellamyIsBack #the100."

Of course, fans were utterly devastated, hoping Bellamy has a plan, that he was not fully brainwashed. "PLEASE TELL ME BELLAMY IS GOING UNDERCOVER LIKE MT WEATHER PLEASE I CANT TAKE THIS #BellamyIsBack #The100," wrote another fan. Not to mention, some were just plain angry. "HOW F**KING DARE YOU @JRothenbergTV HIW DARE YOU? OF COURSE HE WILL TRY AND RUIN BELLAMY AND BELLARKE ONE LAST TIME OF FREAKING COURSE #BellamyIsBack," wrote a frustrated fan.

Yes, that is how the episode ended, leaving fans wondering why the writers brought Bellamy back if he was just going to betray the people he was fighting for his life to get to? Hardcore fans of the show were not given the Clarke and Bellamy reunion they wanted but it's important to realize, this is 'The 100' we're watching here. We're going to hold hope out for Bellamy, maybe Clarke doesn't have to kill him because he's an "idiot."
'The 100' airs on Wednesday nights at 8/7c on The CW.
