Police identify Texas woman and her two children who were fatally shot by partner on KILLING SPREE
McGREGOR, TEXAS: A woman, who was shot dead along with her two children and two other women, has been identified by law enforcement officials. Monica Delgado, 38, was reportedly murdered on Thursday, September 29, by her partner Nicolas Hernandez-Jaimes, who also murdered her children Miguel Avila, 15, and Natallie Avila, 14, along with 47-year-old Lorena Aviles and 20-year-old Natalie Aviles in McGregor, Texas.
A day after the horrific incident, the 35-year-old accused was arrested before being slapped with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges. Sgt Ryan Howard of the state Public Safety Department said that Hernandez-Jaimes will face more charges. He added, “This is saddening information to actually have to put out, and stand up and give you today and thoughts and prayers and hopes for successful healing for the McGregor community.”

The suspect reportedly carried out the attack at approximately 8 am. State Rep Charles "Doc" Anderson stated that the Aviles, who lived near the other three victims, lost their lives after they went to check on them after hearing sounds of firing. Both the children studied at McGregor High School, Superintendent James Lenamon said.
It has been said that the Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas Rangers are currently probing the case. However, the motive behind the murders is yet to be determined.
Meanwhile, a relative of the Aviles, named Ashley Sanchez, took to Facebook to share her pain over the tragedy. She wrote, “I am absolutely heartbroken. Today our family lost two beautiful souls. My cousin, Natalie Aviles, and my Aunt Lori Aviles. I am still in shock and disbelief. They did not deserve to have this happen to them and I’ll never understand why.”
“Two people that loved God, their family, and friends. Natalie was a beautiful young girl, full of life, following her dreams of becoming a doctor…always had a smile on her face. Lori was a beautiful and amazing woman that has achieved much in her life and was great at loving and taking care of those around her, especially at the hospital where she worked. I miss both of them so much already. Life won’t be the same. RIH,” Sanchez added.
A number of people took to the comments section of the social media post to express their grief. A user wrote, “Hi Ashley, I’m so so sorry for your loss. I sent you a PM.” The second user said, “My prayers and our deepest condolences to you all. May God provide peace and comfort.” The third one said, “I’m so sorry bless your family.” The fourth one noted: “I don't even know how to react to this....this hurts my heart.....my condolences to you all.”
“Two beautiful ladies gone too soon. I will forever miss that beautifu smile as she drove downy street,” a person shared. Another person’s comment read: “I am so sorry for your loss. Those smiles tell us everything we need to know about them and their spirits. They were so beautiful and you could see happiness exuding from their faces. Sending many prayers for you and your family.”
