Ever since Ashley met with the freak car accident, her mother and Ashley’s personal security team have been probing high and low to unearth her attacker. With Beau and his father in charge, they manage to nab Kyle, an obsessed fan of Ashley. Kyle does look like the one with the right motive and his discreet breaking into Ashley’s room and threatening her, fit perfectly with the suspect’s image. However, he is not the kind who would have the ability to pull something so largescale.

Further investigation reveals a man named Dylan who has been following Ashley since she got saved in the accident. Despite remaining incognito from the world, Ashley continues to receive death threats, et al. As Beau and his father keep digging deeper, they discover that Dylan was the one who planted the bomb in Ashley’s car on the day of her album launch.

During the investigation, Beau's father gets shot. While his father recovers at the hospital, Beau goes back on the field and chases Dylan out of a halfway house. At gunpoint, Dylan admits that planting the bomb in Ahsley’s car was just a job and he was doing only what he was told. Hearing this, Beau instantly realizes that Dylan was a petty contractor and that there was more to it than it seemed.

The ‘freak’ accident doesn't appear ‘freak’ anymore but more of a calculated, cold-blooded attempt to murder Ashley. Dylan manages to escape and dies in the chase, keeping Beau’s questions unanswered. Beau cannot wrap his head around the fact that someone would scheme against a rising music star to the extent of murder.

Who would want Ashley dead and why? Could it be a far-reaching conspiracy against the Pruitt family and Ashley is just a pawn in the big game? Guess we have to keep waiting until we see what unfolds in the next episode of the warped version of Beauty and the Beast.

Watch Ashley’s conspirator get revealed in the upcoming episodes. ‘Tell Me A Story’ Season 2 airs every Thursday 12 am, only on CBS All Access.
