RICHMOND, QUEENSLAND: A body of missing teenager was found in a remote bushland who mysteriously disappeared after posting some alarming TikTok videos, on Sunday, October 16. The 19-year-old Tea Wright-Finger, who had posted the disturbing videos — including a chilling clip that featured images of her bloodied and bruised face, was found dead, 600 meters away from a Toyoto Prado car in an isolated area of woods on Thursday, December 1. Police said in a statement that they are not treating the death as suspicious and added that a report will be made for the coroner, as per The Sun.

The teenager reportedly went missing after friends dropped her off outside Richmond in a Toyota Prado, on Sunday, October 16. In an effort to find Tea, authorities did a massive search operation. They used off-road buggies, helicopters, and local guides to access the inaccessible terrain. When there was still no sign of Tea after nine days, the search in Richmond, Queensland, was called off. However, a helicopter on Thursday morning discovered the stolen blue Toyota Prado connected to her disappearance. Queensland Police said, "Police have spoken to Tea’s family, and we extend our deep condolences to her family and loved ones."

In a bizarre twist of fate, Tea professed her love for the remote outback region in an eerie video that she shared less than two weeks before she went missing. She captioned a selfie, "I don’t feel so good, I want to go home," before adding a series of snaps of her enjoying the outdoors explaining it was where she felt at "home".

In another TikTok video that she shared on her 19th birthday, she told her followers "it's okay to feel lost sometimes". "Always take risks in life, you never know when it's going to end," she said in the video. "You always have to work hard to get what you want, no one is going to hand it to you. If people want you in their life, they will make time for you."

Many send their condolences to their dear friend on her TikTok handle. One wrote: "Rest in peace beautiful girl." Another wrote: "I prayed everyday you would let someone know you’re okay and resurface. Rest In Peace Tea." A third commented: "Rest peacefully Tea. Sorry for everyone's loss."

On Wednesday, November 30, Queensland Police released a dramatic video showing the moment that police located the blue Toyota that had been stolen. A gloved hand unlocks the front passenger door of the automobile as officers approach it on the video, revealing an open glove box with a pink package inside.

The Toyota, which was found 700 miles away in Proserpine, was reported stolen on October 14—two days before Tea vanished.
The police had previously looked into the possibility that she might have traveled to the Northern Territory, where she had previously worked as a farmhand. Days before she vanished, Tea was captured on security camera footage at a Richmond gas station. In the video, she was seen getting ready to pay for a bottle of juice while wearing a light pink and purple dress and a pair of sandals.
