Teen girl stabbed and left bleeding on the street for FIVE HOURS before she is rescued by dog walker
BENHALL, SUFFOLK: A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after a teenage girl was found bleeding on the road with multiple stab wounds. The girl, whose identity is yet to be revealed, was left bleeding on the road after being stabbed repeatedly at around 2 am on Sunday, October 2, in Benhall near Saxmundham, Suffolk.
As per a Daily Mail report, the local police confirmed that the girl was found in an unconscious state by a dog walker at around 7 am, near the junction of Aldecar Lane and Benhall Green. The girl was treated by paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service for stab wounds and a back injury. She was then transported to Ipswich hospital where she remained in stable condition.

Suffolk Police have arrested the 17-year-old boy on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent and have taken him to the Police Investigation Centre at Martlesham near Ipswich for further questioning. During the investigation, the cops learned that the victim and suspect knew each other.
A statement released by Suffolk police department reads, "There is currently a police cordon at the scene while investigations are carried out. Both the victim and suspect are known to each other, and at this time police are treating it as an isolated incident with no wider threat to the public." "Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen individuals in the area of the assault and the adjacent open areas during the early hours of this morning, to get in touch with police," the statement further read.
Richard Smith, representative of the neighboring Blything ward at Suffolk County Council, expressed his shock at the brutal stabbing incident and said, "This incident is very clearly shocking. I hope the young lady who has been stabbed can make a full recovery. This is a horrible incident, but these horrible incidents can happen. I was saddened to read about it, and I hope the girl can make a speedy recovery."
One Benhall resident said, “Our hearts go out to this poor girl. A lot of people around here know her. It is just awful to think she was lying injured for so many hours.” The village is sealed off by the officials as the deputies are investigating the matter.
