LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fans' excitement is at an all-time high. MTV’s most iconic reality series ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ makes its comeback on screens on September 6. This is common that whenever a popular series is making a comeback, global fandoms start actively discussing the possible stars coming back in the series. Well, the same thing occurred here.  A few weeks back there had been never-ending rumors. These were related to how former reality star Jenelle Evans who gained global recognition from the show was in talks with the channel to make a comeback on the series.

For those who are unaware, MTV fired the real-life couple back in 2019 after Evans' husband David Eason confessed to killing his wife's dog named Nugget. Since then, fans have been deeply mulling whether the channel will ever call the reality starlet back on the show. Their queries have finally been answered now. According to Jenelle’s manager August Keen who was quoted on TMZ dated August 2022, it is true that “Jenelle is officially NOT returning to MTV's Teen Mom franchise after the two sides could not reach an agreement on a contract."

The outlet also revealed how MTV wanted to get Jenelle on board for an exclusive deal but according to Jenelle’s manager, "this could have resulted in very limited career opportunities for Evans in the world of reality television."

The report by TMZ also informed how Jenelle "probably has a new dynamic series in development, keeping the concept under wraps for now." Her manager also shared, “the show is going to be picked up by a major network." Furthermore, Jenelle is focusing on building her brand as an entrepreneur, and an exclusive deal with MTV just did not make sense for her in any way.

As soon as fans got to know this piece of scoop that there have been talks between the channel and Evans regarding her comeback, they got furious and lashed out at makers for the same. They mentioned that Leah and Briana have a fear of employment which is why they are supporting Evans' comeback on the show. Some of them also shared that if the channel wants to bring back Evans, they also bring back other fired couples as well.

“Morality goes out the window when you are sponsoring a visa, and therefore, financially on the hook for your sisters 3rd baby daddy The FOE (Fear of Employment) is strong with these girls,” mentioned a fan. “@MTV If u bring back @PBandJenelley_1 who is a sex worker is has publicly been racist, and stood by her husband murdering her dog, then bring back @coreywharton and partner Taylor! Bring back all the other people you fired then! @MTV is weak,” said another fan.

“We knew this was coming and Jenelle Evans probably planned before leaving 'Teen Mom'," a fan ranted. “I forgot she was fired three years ago and like you said I'm sure those offers are coming in and I add this don't be surprised if TLC or the CW pitch in for Evans?” a fan added. “She hasn’t been on it in years…..who was expecting her? Lmao,” said a fan.
