Amber Portwood, Catelyn Baltierra, Maci McKinney, Leah Messer, Cheyenne Floyd, Brianna DeJesus, Jade Cline, and Ashley Jones would be seen in the much-awaited ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’.

What is the plot of ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’? 

In the trailer, we see glimpses of what exactly the next chapter is all about. While fans would be seeing how Leah’s relationship with boyfriend Jaylan Mobley gets more serious, it would be followed by Jade’s bonding with longtime partner Sean Austin getting much stronger and unbreakable. Ashley would be seen struggling in her romance with Bar Smith. Ultimately, fans would also see how Cheyenne finally reaches her breaking point in an outburst while on a getaway with the other girls.

On the flip side, we also witness how Amber’s segment with son James and ex Andrew Glennon appears joyful but this is not it. Her never-ending and constant custody battle drama with Andrew would most likely be seen playing out during the fifteen episodes of the show. Briana in the trailer also looks lost as tears stream down her face while the voiceover adds, “The setbacks are tougher than ever."



 

What is the buzz around ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’?

In an interview with In Touch Weekly dated August 24, ‘Teen Mom 2’ co-star Briana DeJesus teased about the return of former reality star and close friend Jenelle Evans. She has opened up about the possibility of Jenelle’s return to the reality series. Giving an insight on the same, DeJesus said, “She’s returning for a quick second and it was great to have her come to my party. But yeah, I don’t know if she’ll be returning in future episodes, but that’s something that we’ll just all have to wait and see."

On that same day, whilst Jenelle confirmed that it is true that she was in talks about possibly returning at a full-time capacity to the show but she ultimately decided not to. Explaining the same in her quote to In Touch Weekly via her manager August Keen, she said, “I alone decided to decline the terms within the agreement to pursue and further other career choices."

She also added, “Based on the terms, it would have not aligned with my current opportunities. No hard feelings. I appreciate MTV and the producers for including me, nothing but great vibes to the girls."
