HAMILTON COUNTY, OHIO: Ryan Edwards has been ordered to rehab treatment for his substance abuse following his arrest after several crimes with the latest being his harassment of his estranged wife, Mackenzie Edwards, 26. As a part of a plea agreement, a judge ordered that unless he is in treatment at a rehab, he will have to serve a sentence of 11 months and 29 days.

The 'Teen Mom' star, 35, is required to wear a GPS monitor, not use social media in any capacity relating to Mackenzie, have no contact with her, and must "successfully" complete the treatment, as per the deal, reported Page Six.

What are the charges against Edwards that were dropped?

Charges against Edwards' stalking, violation of order protection, and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed. With a long-standing history of committing crimes, he pleaded guilty to harassing Mackenzie and has a pending court appearance scheduled on April 20 along with separate charges of possession of a controlled substance. Edwards is currently on probation and not in custody, according to a Hamilton County Court spokesperson.

'A legitimate threat to her life'

In February, as a retaliation, Edwards allegedly shared revealing photos of his ex-wife on Instagram and he was taken into custody. He was charged with outstanding harassment after Mackenzie said she received "a legitimate threat to her life," after she allegedly received hostile messages from Edwards through a recorded call. At the time he faced additional charges after authorities found him possessing two bags of suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia. However, he was arrested a second time on March 1 after he allegedly continued to stalk his ex-wife, according to Page Six.

Mackenzie filed for divorce from Edwards in February

Following the legal turmoil and multiple domestic violence dispute within their six years of marriage, Mackenzie filed for divorce. She was given temporary custody of their daughter, Stella, 3, and, son, Jagger, 4, and was granted a restraining order. In February, she claimed to authorities that he held her up by her neck to the wall after she was thrown down a hallway. According to her claim, she felt as if he were going to "kill her" as he put a knife on her back at a time.
