'Teen Mom' alum Farrah Abraham dubbed 'awful' over her claims of being 'typecasted' on MTV show
MIAMI, FLORIDA: 'Teen Mom' alum Farrah Abraham recently made a shocking accusation against MTV show but didn't receive support from her followers as she might have expected. In a recent episode of 'Miss Understood Podcast', Farrah claimed that she was 'typecasted' on the MTV show.
Farrah shared with Rachel Uchitel, "We were typecasted because other people who do know what do know phycology, mental health giving us physiological evaluations even when I don't know myself. Those people are older." She added, "They know how to find an undereducated midwest or middle of nowhere family who believes in you know like 'we're gonna shamefully reject our teen child.'"
Farrah further claimed, "We haven't even set them up to be successful. They don't know about finances. They don't know like contraception laws and restrictions. But we know how to take every accountability off of us and blame our child." She then drew comparisons between 'Teen Mom' and 'Jersey Shore', claiming that the cast of the latter was also typecasted as they were alcoholic.
However, the MTV show alum's followers slammed her over her comments and claimed that she lied about her family background. A fan on social media commented, "They picked you because of who you really are and you showed who you are." Another added, "Such an awful person. And she’s already busted in lies and it’s not even live yet."
One critic noted, "Umm, they casted some pregnant teens bc the show was about pregnant teens. Sounds like you set yourself up to be “typecasted”. Should they have selected girls who weren’t pregnant, and were doing great?"
Another fan wrote, "'Set the record stright' Girl cant set it straight if she cant take accountability for her horrendous actions to the cast and crew of the show. Do better Rachel. This is NOT the person to be giving a platform like this too. She is only here to promote her OF."
One fan noted, "'Undereducated mid west family' Thats a lie...her mother has a BS/BA in business, an EMBA (executive masters of business admin) was a professional for years before TV. Her dad has similar education. There is lie #1."

Why did Farrah Abraham leave 'Teen Mom'?
Farrah Abraham decided to quit MTV show 'Teen Mom' in 2017 to pursue a successful career in the adult entertainment industry. During an episode of Season 7, Farrah had an explosive argument with executive producer Morgan J Freeman over her career move.
The producer explained to Farrah that she couldn't do both acting jobs simultaneously. Morgan said, "Nobody's here to cast judgement on anything, but if you chose to work in the adult industry, we can’t continue to film your story for 'Teen Mom'." However, Farrah then made her decision and chose her adult film career over the MTV show.
She called the producer and told him, "Honestly, webcams or adult entertainment or healthy sex lives or safe sex or all these things, all that stuff is more beneficial and I will always continue to do that, regardless if it's my own show, not on MTV anymore." She added, "There are so many paths for me in my life. Hell, I’m only 26."

Farrah Abraham slams Janelle Evans' return in 'Teen Mom'
'Teen Mom' alum Farrah Abraham reflected on Janelle Evans' return in 'Teen Mom: The Next Chapter'. Farrah shared a video on her Instagram soon after MTV officially confirmed that Jenelle would be appearing on the upcoming second season of 'Teen Mom' spin-off.
Farrah said, "[I was] just notified that, like, Jenelle Evans, speaking of a tumultuous day, is going back to ‘Teen Mom’ after, like, five years," adding, "And I have to say congrats to her..." However, Farrah then seemingly took a dig on Janelle's return to the MTV show.
She said, "At 32, I don't ever wanna say I'm returning to something that was of the past." Farrah added, "I don't know. You can never go back to your past to heal to get better... You can't heal where you were sick, you know?"
