Taylor Swift surprises crowd during HAIM concert in London, excited fans say 'the best gig ever'

The 32-year-old songstress sang a rendition of her collaborative track with HAIM called ‘Gasoline’ and a special mash-up of hit single ‘Love Story’

Taylor Swift, who enjoys a massive global fan following, sent her fans into a tizzy after she surprised them by appearing with the HAIM sisters on stage during the latter’s concert at London’s O2 Arena. Dressed in a customized Louis Vuitton attire, the iconic crooner belted out a special mash-up of her hit single ‘Love Story’.
 
The 32-year-old songstress also sang a rendition of her collaborative track with HAIM called ‘Gasoline’. HAIM is currently in the middle of their ‘Women in Music Pt. III’ tour and is expected to wrap it up by the end of July. Social media users shared multiple videos of Taylor Swift joining the HAIM sisters on July 21 as they drooled over the singer surprising fans at the concert.

Taylor Swift surprises fans during HAIM concert

Prior to ‘Gasoline’, HAIM that includes Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim earlier joined hands with Taylor Swift on her ‘Evermore’ album track ‘No Body, No Crime.’ Swift not only performed on stage but also addressed the audience saying, “I haven’t been on stage in a very long time. It’s nice…it’s nice, it’s very nice [to be back].” She continued, “When I heard my girls were playing in London at the O2, I thought, I’m going to have to see that. And it looks like there’s about 20,000 other people who also thought that.”
 
The multiple Grammy-winning singer added, “So we had a thought. If we were to do some sort of mash-up, we could possibly maybe get you to sing the loudest you have sung all night – which is a big challenge because you have been singing very loudly- extraordinary work.” For the unversed, HAIM opened for Swift during her ‘1989’ world tour in 2015. Taylor Swift, on the work front, recently dropped a single called ‘Carolina’ which was produced by The National’s Aaron Dessner.

The loyal fan army of Swift stormed to Twitter as one of the users stated, “What kind of f**king luck?!? to see HAIM?? at the o2??? and then Taylor comes out??? in that outfit??? and sings gasoline live??? what the f**k i’m so bitter.” Another stated, “Still can’t believe this actually happened before my eyes but Taylor Swift joined Haim on stage at the O2 for the very final night of their One More Haim tour for a special mashup up of Gasoline x Love Story.”
