Chilling footage shows man in clown mask armed with SAMURAI SWORD robbing store in Pennsylvania

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA: On Thursday in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, a man was accused of robbing a store while sporting a clown mask and a Samurai sword. According to authorities, an armed robbery took place at a Uni-Mart in Chestnuthill Township, just before 5 am on October 13. The robbery is being looked into by Troop N of the Pennsylvania State Police, which is based in Fern Ridge Station.

According to Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers, the suspect, a White male, entered the establishment through the back and brandished the samurai sword before demanding money from the cash register. The suspect is seen drawing the sword from its sheath in surveillance footage while wearing a clown mask, a white T-shirt, and gray sweatpants. The culprit escaped into the woods after robbing the cash, according to the police.

Morning news reporter for FOX 29 Philadelphia, Steve Keeley reported on Twitter, he wrote, "2/2 @PAStatePolice say clown mask robber came in to the Uni-Mart, took out his “Samurial sword & demanded the cashier open the cash register. After taking cash, he fled into wooded area near store.” 90 mins north of Philadelphia in Chestnuthill Twp, Monroe County. @FOX29philly"



 

"WANTED by ⁦@PAStatePolice⁩ Man in clown mask who used a sword as weapon to rob a convenience store. Happened last Thursday morning 4:54am. REAL scare for store clerk in Halloween season. 1/2 ⁦@FOX29philly," Keeley mentioned in another Tweet.



 

As per Fox29 Philadelphia, two masked robberies took place in Pennsylvania on Monday and Wednesday, each involving a person who robbed two different Wawa outlets in Bucks County while donning a skull mask and carrying a chrome revolver. According to the publication, the culprit took $175 during the second heist.

As the owner, Bhatti tackled him, another thief tried to grab some jewels but the owner was quick on his feet.
