'Survivor: Island of the Idols' Season 39 Episode 12 preview: Trust is tested and it's time for a visit from the families
'Survivor: Island of the Idols' Season 39 is nearing its end, and the series is all set to return to our screens for a brand new episode on Wednesday night titled 'A Very Simple Plan'.
Ahead of Episode 12, 'Survivor: Island of the Idols' Season 39 released a preview of what fans and viewers can expect this week. Last week we saw Elizabeth get eliminated after Karishma played her Immunity Idol and saved herself from elimination after she received seven votes.
The tribe had to do a recount between Janet and Elizabeth, and in the end, Elizabeth received the most votes and got sent home, making her the next jury member. It was an interesting and eventful episode. Now back again this week, the series teases that this might be an emotional episode as it's time for some love.
Ahead of their immunity challenge on Wednesday, the preview teased that the contestants will be allowed to meet with one family member on the island, and for once they are back to being just like everyone else. We do not get to see who comes to visit whom, but we will know those details when the series returns.
Apart from that, CBS also shared a sneak peek into Wednesday's immunity challenge, and it does not look easy. It's another battle of who has the most endurance.
The players will have to stand on one foot right on top of a wooden block. While standing on one foot they have to press a ball against the painted section of a tall post with a round paddle. The last contestant who remains standing wins immunity.
In last week's immunity, we saw Karishma give up way too easily especially after she gave up the breakfast buffet that was offered. What about this week? Strength isn't her strongest suit, but will she manage to go a little further this week? We will have to wait and see.
