Super Bowl LVI: Cooper Kupp named the MVP, fans believe Aaron Donald was 'robbed'
Super Bowl LVI ended with a bang as Los Angeles Rams defeated the defending champions Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 to lift the trophy. It was definitely a nail-biting finish and it was Aaron Donald’s takedown in the last few minutes of the fourth quarter that sealed the deal for the Rams.
In the end, The Bengals didn’t find enough time to make a comeback and the Rams won their second Super Bowl. Rams’ Wide Receiver Cooper Kupp scored the final touchdown of the game and sealed the deal for his team. As soon as the game ended, Aaron Donald gave an emotional interview and said that he is just going to enjoy the moment with his family and his loved ones.

Fans were rallying behind Donald when the MVP award was being announced and were left disappointed when Kupp was revealed as the winner. Even though fans were happy with their favorite team winning the coveted trophy, they wanted to see Donald win the MVP accolade.

During the post-match interview, Donald didn’t shy away from showing his emotions and had tears in his eyes while explaining what the win meant for him. He said, “I wanted this so bad. I dreamed this, man. I dreamed this. And it's like — it's surreal. It's the best feeling in the world. God is great. I'm at a loss for words. I don't know what to say. This is a blessing.”
