'Put sunflower seeds in your pockets': Ukrainian woman gives OMINOUS warning to Russian soldiers
The video of a Ukrainian woman confronting heavily-armed Russian soldiers alone has gone viral on social media as people across the globe are hailing her bravery. The video is believed to be from the port city of Henichesk near the sea of Azov. The woman, who has not been identified, can be heard threatening one of the soldiers, "Put sunflower seeds in your pockets so they grow on Ukraine soil when you die."
Instances of bravery and patriotism are being reported from across Ukraine as Russian troops launched missile strikes on the capital city of Kyiv. An unnamed old man, 80, was seen with two shirts and sandwiches as he vowed to fight the Russians to protect his grandkids. A pizza shop owner in Kyiv is handing out free pizzas to anyone who is volunteering to fight the Russians. Kyiv's Mayor Vitali Klitschko, a former heavyweight champion, has volunteered to fight on the frontlines himself. Meanwhile, a Ukrainian fighter jet dubbed 'The Ghost of Kyiv', has reportedly knocked down six Russian jets in brilliant air-to-air combat.

The source of the sunflower seed woman's video is unknown, though it has gone viral on the internet. Filmed from a distance, the video shows the elderly woman approaching a heavily-armed Russian soldier and confronting him about the war.
"What the f**k are you doing here?" she can be heard asking him while the visibly embarrassed soldier answers curtly.
"You're occupants, you're fascists! What the f**k are you doing on our land with all these gun? Take these seeds and put them in your pockets, so at least sunflowers will grow when you all lie down here," she further added.
As the Russian armed official tries in vain to diffuse the situation, the woman insists on handing the sunflower seeds over to him. Ironically, the sunflower happens to be the national flower of Ukraine.
"From this moment, you are cursed. I'm telling you," she said, adding, "You f**king came here uninvited."
Her brave confrontation was lauded by author Thomas Rid, who also provided a detailed transcript of the interaction. "One of most formidable images I've ever come across, and I study war for a living: a Ukrainian woman handing sunflower seeds to a Russian soldier, asking him to pocket the seeds, twice, so that "at least" sunflowers will grow when he will be killed," he noted.
Another user remarked, "This is very powerful," adding, "Sunflowers are Ukraine's national flower, representing the power and warmth of the sun."
A third user hailed, "That is one badass woman right there," while TV writer Dylan Park tweeted, "She said, “Roses are red, violets are blue, put these sunflower seeds in your pocket b***h, we gon’ kill you.”
