The clip shows a teacher shouting to the students, "Starting tomorrow, we don’t have to wear masks anymore!", prompting the kids to jump out of their seats and pump their fists in elation. The footage also shows a boy in a hoodie instantly pulling down his mask while other students bust out dance moves or scream out of joy. The teacher, eliciting another round of screams from the children asks, "Is anybody excited?!".
Senator Ron Johnson retweeted the video, "This reaction is all you need to know about what the COVID gods’ decisions have done to our children." "We want to see our children joyful". "We want to see our children’s smiles", he said. Adam Paul Laxalt, Former Nevada Attorney General tweeted, "Their reactions to being told that they no longer have to wear a mask should tell you everything you need to know. Nevada’s children never should have been forced to wear a mask in the first place. Never forget who enabled this to happen".
A Twitter user wrote, "Poor kids have suffered enough in the past two years. They can finally breathe now and smile. Thanks for sharing." "This just warms my heart!!!", another user. "Look at this electric factory. What I would do to have this mindset again. Kids man I tell ya", a third added. A fourth commented, "As a parent, i can confirm that kids will react this way about most anything when you tell them to".
