President Donald Trump is set to leave the White House along with his family on the day President-elect Joe Biden gets inaugurated as the 46th president of the United States. In a video posted on Friday, first lady Melania Trump said that her "Be Best" initiative had "raised awareness" and "gave voice" to concerns such as opioid abuse and cyberbullying. While the first lady is proud of her accomplishments, her ex-best friend, former White House adviser Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, claims that Melania accomplished nothing during Trump's presidency.

In an article by The Daily Beast titled 'Melania’s Ex-BFF: There’s Blood on Her Hands', Winston Wolkoff wrote that Melania had taken up "albuming" in her free time and made "scrapbooks filled with photographs of herself." In the same article, she added, "Name one thing that she actually accomplished. Try. People warned me not to work for them. And now, I can tell you, having seen it firsthand, that no one will escape the destruction created by these people."

In an article written by CNN White House correspondent Kate Bennett, a line reads, "The only thing Trump has done, besides pack the White House, work on photo albums of her time as first lady and oversee photo shoots of a rug and decorative items, make a convoluted statement about the events of last Wednesday, five days after they occurred." New York Times best-selling author Kate Anderson Brower also tweeted in response to The Daily Beast article, writing, "Interesting @SWWCreative “In her free time she took up ‘albuming’ and made scrapbooks full of photographs of herself.” She certainly had plenty of free time. What a wasted opportunity. No @FLOTUS has done less with their enormous platform to change lives."

Bennett also said that the first lady has not contacted incoming first lady Dr. Jill Biden. She also revealed that Bower, who authored 'First Women: The Grace and Power of America's Modern First Ladies', said, "There's never been any first lady as stubborn and defiant as Melania Trump. I think she's digging in. I think she has channeled her husband's fury and is obviously not interested in playing the traditional role of a first lady who, in times of crisis, seeks to unite and soothe the country." Just to jog memories, former first lady Michelle Obama invited Melania Trump to tea after Trump won the election in 2016.

What did Winston Wolkoff's book say on Melania's 'albuming?

In her book, Winston Wolkoff speaks of an incident in January 2018 between her and Melania. Apparently, she had found out that the first lady was not busy with the 'Be Best; initiative but rather was "working on one of her photo albums." Winston Wolkoff texted Melania asking her what she was doing and the first lady replied, "Working on pictures for albums of all of my trips and if I don’t do now, will never do." Bennett also writes that Melania is "done" with Washington and "the last four years of dramatic highs and lows.”
