Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) learned a very hard lesson in the previous episode of 'Stargirl' - failure.  Riding high on the wave of success of defeating Brainwave in Episode 2, Courtney realized that it won't always be easy. It involved the death of her classmate and friend at the hands of the cold-hearted villain Icicle (Neil Jackson). It was a painful lesson no doubt, but Stargirl realized that she can't handle everything on her own and more importantly that she can't rush into heroics. There's a lot more to being a superhero than that.

In the next episode, Stargirl rushes around town to recruit new members of the Justice Society. "Courtney sets out to recruit new members to the Justice Society of America; Pat's suspicion is piqued following a bizarre conversation with one of the town's residents." In the promo for the episode, we see her befriending Wildcat (Yvette Monreal), who tries on her new wildcat suit and the two are very excited about it.

Speaking about her experience of bringing Yolanda Montez aka Wildcat to life, Yvette Monreal, in an exclusive interview to MEA WorldWide revealed how she prepped for the role. "Once I booked the part, I did have a boxing coach to teach me the foundation of boxing. I also had about 2 weeks of training  set up with the stunt team to make sure I had the basics down of how a boxer should stand, punch, and also prepped for “Wildcat” and how to move like a jaguar sense. Just to bring the animal part of her alive a little bit. I love the stunt team they're amazing at what they do!," she shared.

Monreal was all praise for her Wildcat costume and said, "My superhero suit is so special! It took months to make and is the most fantastic thing about my wardrobe! Really helps me get into character."

Meanwhile, Icicle is still roaming free and more villains are around the corner. At the end of the earlier episode, we saw Hourman making his entrance too. What's going to happen in Episode 4? Will there be more casualties?

Tune into 'Stargirl' on CW on Tuesdays at 8pm. It releases on DC a day earlier, in case you wanted to be the first to catch up on all the action before the spoilers hit the web.
